1. Birth certificate gives name as Lamberth Osborne. Both his and his wife's obituary give his first name as Lambert. Burial record and 1900 census gives it as Lamberth. Clara Osborne's obituary mentions father as Lamberth A. Osborne. Middle name may be Arthur.

2. Ogden city cemetery records; Lot 1, Blk 4; Plat "D"; "Paid by Cornelius Osborne $100.00." (This record also contains four of his children: Mabel, Herbert, Pearl, and Emma.) Approximately 18 total relatives (Osbornes, Burnhopes, Petersens, McCarrels, and Koepkes) buried in near proximity.
OBITUARY:
1. "Lambert Osborne, 69, died this morning a 6 o'clock of heart trouble at his residence, 2665 Washington avenue. Mr. Osborne is survived by his widow, Emma Wooton Osborne; five children: Mrs. R.E. Pender, T.S. Osborne, Mrs. E.C. Martin, Albert and Ruth Osborne; one brother and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Second ward Friday afernoon at 2 o'clock, with Bishop William E. Newman presiding. The body may be viewed at the home Thursday afternoon and on Friday until time of services. Interment will be in City cemetery." Ogden Standard Examiner, Tues., 29 Jan 1924, p. 6.

"Arrange Funeral of Veteran Chef.
Lambert Osborne, who died Wednesday, was one of the best known chefs of Utah. For 53 years he served in the kitchens of the largest hotels and for the past 19 years was in the employ of Angus Kennedy.
Mr. Osborne was born in England and came to Utah in 1867, two years before the completion of the first transcontinental railroad. As a boy he took part in the building of the old Utah Central and at the celebration at the terminus of the road in Salt Lake, marking the finish of the work, he handed Brigham Young the golden spike which was driven by the president of the church.
Mr. Osborne was married in Salt lake by Bishop Thomas Taylor, 46 years aggo.
The family is at 2665 Washington avenue, but for 12 years lived at 2665 Wall avenue
The funeral services will be held at the Second ward chapel at 2 pm Friday, Bishop W.F. Newman presiding. Interment in the city cemetery."
