  RESEARCH_NOTES: 1. This could actually be Maidstone. The Linstead/Maidstone film was indexed by extraction as Linstead, as Linstead was the first parish on the film. Many of the actual christenings belong to the Maidstone parish records. I have found several films for Kent county parishes where this was the case: Ham, Harrietsham, and about 5 other parishes, all indexed under Ham. There are several other films where this happened.
