He married (1st) say 880-890 BERTILA OF SPOLETO, daughter of Suppo II, Duke of Spoleto, by Bertha, daughter of Count Wifred. They had two daughters, Gisela and Bertha [Abbess of St. Salvatore, Brescia]. His wife, Bertila, was living 3 Nov. 890. She was charged with adultery and died by poison, sometime before Berengario became emperor in 915. He married (2nd) before December 915 ANNA ___. They had no issue.
