Email from Roy Hales dated 2 Feb 2016: "Isaac Doe, c. 29 Mar 1574, Frinstead - bur. 19 Jun 1655, Bredgar, Kent, England (Age ~ 81 years) married Amy Tassell, (c. 12 Nov 1572, Harrietsham) about 1593. Isaac is one of the four overseers mentioned in the oldest Oversees of the Poor report from Bredgar (1607). Isaac Doo was a freeholder and one of the Trustees of the Terry charity (Allison, BREDGAR, p. 39). Overseer again in 1635 (Allison, p. 40). Amy died sometime prior to Dec. 16, 1639 when "Doe, Isaac, of Bredgar, yeom., widr., and Joan Hunt of Borden, w. of John Hunt, clerk, late rector of Goodnestone n. Faversham. At S. M.
