4. Newspaper "Marysvale Free Lance" of Piute County, 18 Mar 1904, section "Correspondence": "Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hales left for Idaho last Sunday. He will spend the season shearing sheep; she will visit with her sister, Mrs. Frank Bishop."
Note: Sarah Stoker Hales sister Mary Grace Shoemaker was married to Frank Bishop 24 Dec 1900. Mary's father was William Shoemaker and both Sarah's and Mary's mother was Martha Catherine Frederick.
MARRIAGE:
1. "Western States Marriage Records Index" per http://abish.byui.edu/specialCollections/fhc/gbsearch.htm:
ID number 254339; Frank Bishop (34); Residence Circleville, Piute, Utah; Grace Shoemaker (19), residence Circleville, Piute, Utah; marriage 24 Dec 1900 at Junction, Piute, Utah. Vol. P3, page 126.
2. Oldest son Lionel John Bishop was born 21 Sep 1901 in Kimberly, Utah according to the book "The Ebenezer Hanks Story." I think the place should be Kimberly, Idaho since no Kimberly is in Utah and since the second Child, Vera Bishop was born 26 Oct 1903 in Bruneau, Idaho which is only one county away from Kimberly. However on the other hand, the census for Lionel does say Utah. The births of Lionel helps confirm the marriage of 1900.
