      “THOMAS DE LEWKNOR, Knt., of Broadhurst (in Horsted Keynes), Sussex, South Mimms, Middlesex, and St. Peter Cornhill, London, and, in right of his 2nd wife, of Ronton, Staffordshire, Stoke Doyle, Northamptonshire, and Whatton, Leicestershire, son and heir, born about 1347 (aged 15 in 1362). He married (1st) in 1362 (date of property settlement) AGNES ___. He married (2nd) by settlement dated 1370 JOAN D'OYLEY, daughter of John d'Oyley, Knt., of Ronton, Staffordshire, Warnham, Sussex, Stoke Doyle, Northamptonshire, and Whatton, Leicestershire, by Margaret, daughter of Thomas de Tregoz, Knt., 2nd Lord Tregoz. She was born about 1344. They had two sons, Roger, Esq.; and John, and one daughter, Katherine. She was heiress in 1370 to her brother, Thomas d'Oyley, Knt., by which she inherited the manors of Ronton, Staffordshire, Warnham, Sussex, Stoke Doyle, Northamptonshire, and Whatton, Leicestershire. SIR THOMAS DE LEWKNOR died in 1375. His widow, Joan, married (2nd) in 1376 JOHN COBHAM, of Devonshire, Knight of the Shire for Sussex, Surrey, and Kent, younger son of John Cobham, Knt., of Randall (in Shorne) and Hever, Kent. They had two children, Reynold and Elizabeth. His wife, Joan, died in 1393. JOHN COBHAM died testate 12 Nov. 1399.
