OBITUARY:
1. "James R. Rickards. Cedar City. - Funeral services for James Robert Rickards, 83, pioneer teacher of Cedar City and veteran miner at the Silver Reef mine were held Wednesday afternoon at the tabernacle. Bishop Walter T. Granger presided and the following spoke, Lehi Jones, Harry Lunt and E.J. Palmer. Surviviing Mr. Rickards are his daughter, Julia Stephens, Cedar City, and one grandson, and three grand-daughters." Deseret News, Fri., 3 Apr 1931, p. 10.
