  MARRIAGE: 1. Could William Allgar's wife have been Anne. Notice from the marriage extractions in the following article that an Anne Allgar married Henry Bette 16 Oct 1575, which would have been two months after William Algar's death. On the other hand, Anne may be another daughter of William Allgar born abt 1556 or earlier before William Jr. of abt. 1558. Since the husband of Anne is noted as the son John Bette, it would appear that he was a young enough groom to have to have his father's name included in the register entry. If Anne had been an older widow, then her newer husband most likely would not have had a father's name included. I assume Anne is a daughter until proven otherwise.
