  RESEARCH_NOTES: 1. Website of Peter Bruce Herzenberg of London, England (since relocated to South Africa). Website is no longer functioning as of 7 Aug 2007. Copies of much of his data from the website in my possession. He indicates references by codes, which pertain to the original source and file held in his database, which I have not seen. I have no key to the sources except HL is Leonardo Herzenberg, HG is Gail Herzenberg, PC is probably Piltene Cemetery records, LA is probably Latvian Archives, FA is probably Aleksandrs Feigmanis (Latvian researcher hired by Harold Hodes), and YL is Len Yodaiken (Israeli researcher hired by Harold Hodes); however, he lists the main researchers and their contributions in a lengthy report which I include in full in the notes of the earliest Herzenberg of this database. In regards to this individual: YL009 shows Charles Kichler, b. 1911, d. 1970, md. to Theresa Herzenberg. CR shows two children: Sirry, b. 2 May 1943, last of New York; Lucille, b. 23 Dec 1949. 2. Email dated 18 Mar 2010 : "My name is Lucille Maitino and my maiden name was Kichler. My mom's Theresa Miriam Herzenberg (1913-2007). Her father was Rudolf Herzenberg (1887-1937) and mother, Cecelia Dorothea Odes (1892-1936). Before my Mom died we had been working on our family tree. I have been continuing to work on it with my sister, Sirry, and she came upon your site. I have some names and dates that don't match on your site. I will be happy to share what I have learned through my mom. Please contact me in Livermore, California, 925-449-1779." BIRTH: 1. My mom [Theresa Miriam Herzenberg] told me her Grandfather was Isaac Herzenberg, b. Libau, Latvia, 1863 and d. Libau, Latvia ?. Her grandmother was Theresa Miriam who she was named after, and I thought her maiden name was Bernitz not Taube? b. Riga, Latvia 1850 d.? Libau.
