  RESEARCH_NOTES: 1. Using IGI extracted batch christening records, I see no Mary Hales/Hayles in Warden or Haydon Bridge. I did not see any burial record in Haydon Bridge for her. MARRIAGE: 1. The marriage records for Haydon Bridge church (FHL film 991796): "25 May 1724, Wm. Mewis and Mary Hayles." Surprisingly the same marriage is also recorded in the Warden church records, FHL film 1068615, as: "25 May 1724, William Mewes and Mary Hayles." Haydon Bridge was a dependent chapelry subservient to Warden parish and is probably the reason for the apparent duplication of recording the marriage.
