    • RESEARCH_NOTES:
      1. Could this be a brother? FHL film 90868 has a will dated 6 Apr 1690 and inventory dated 30 Apr 1690 from the Durham Consistory Court for Richard Parker of Haydon. Mentions unnamed wife, sons Thomas and Elexander, and daughters Jan and Margrat. Thomas is made executor.

      MARRIAGE:
      1. Haydon Bridge parish transcript FHL film 94994: "12 Feb 1660/1661, John Mewerse and Issabell Parker."

      BURIAL:
      1. Burial records for Haydon Bridge church (FHL film 991796): "19 May 1683, Issabell, wife of John Mewes of my church."
There are two Isabels, both wives of John Mewes/Muis, who died in close proximity timewise in 1683 and 1701. The two Johns are father and son and the Isabel who died last would have had to been the son's wife since there are several children born to John (the younger) after the death of the earlier Isabel in 1683. In fact the latter Isabell probably died shortly after the childbirth of her last child Robert, who was christened 9 Apr 1701 and was buried 8 Jul 1702.
