- MARRIAGE:
1. FHL film 1068897, marriage records for Saint John Lee, shows Joseph Burnup, widower of the parish of Hexham, m. Ann Watson, widow of this parish, by banns, 19 Apr 1796, witnesses were Daniel Dawson and Elisabeth Hedley. This is most likely are Joseph considering that his wife Elizabeth died in Hexham in 1792.
BURIAL:
1. In the Hexham parish records (FHL film 991803, there is a burial record for "Ann Burnhope, living in Hexham, bur. 10 Dec 1815, age 70." Could this be this Ann? John's first wife, Elizabeth, was buried in Hexham in 1792. In doing a search of burials from 1788 to 1835, I did not find one for John Burnhope.
