Dennis Lancaster..."
4. From the book "history and biographical record of Lenawee County, Michigan," pp. 1248-9: "Welcome V. Fisk was born in York, Livingston county, New York, June 29th, 1823... Welcome V. Fisk is a self-made man, having commenced for himself when he was eight years old. At that time he went to live with Dennis Lancaster, a farmer of Bridgewater, Washtenaw county. At the age of eleven he commenced to learn the mason's trade with Simeon Spencer of Clinton..."

P. 152: April 18, 1833, Washtenaw Co, Michigan. Md. Dennis Lancaster to Hannah Frederick in Bridgewater by Howell B. Norton. [I would like to see the original of this to confirm if the handwritten name is Hannah mistakenly transcribed by Mary Lou for Harriet.]
P. 312: Received for Record the 15th day of March 1847 married April 30, 1846 John Palmer of Lenawee County aged 27 to Nancy Frederick of Bridgewater aged 19 years at the residence of Dennis Lancaster in the town of Bridgewater in presence of John Tyrel and Lady both of Clinton, Lenawee Co.
