1. The Latvian Archives is online and I have reviewed all Registers for Pilten. Registers are in German and I indicate what I don't understand. I extracted all Herzenbergs of which the following excerpts apply to this family:

-Image 69: "Lemchen Joseph Herzenberg" is title of an entire return section at Pilten 22 Sep 1811 containing:
-Lemgen Joseph Herzenberg, (no age)
-his [brother?] Chonne Joseph Herzenberg, 18 [Has relational and other comments needing translation; most likely fraternal.]
-his wife, Sorre, 18
-his daughter, Riffke, 1
-his mother, Taube, 60 [This is a big find - wife of the original Joseph.]
-his [?] Lewin Wulf Edelstein, 17
-his wife, Schoene, 15
-Image 27. Has two columns of ages after the male names with the first being 1834 and the second 1842; one column for female names probably 1842. Family #79:
-327 Chone Joseph Herzenberg, 42, 50
-his wife Schore, 50
-328 his son Jossel, 18, 26
-329 his son Mendel, 9, 17
-330 his son Elias, 2, 10
-Image 77. Has two columns of ages after the name with the first being 1834 and the second 1848. List # 63, Family #101:
