According to Peter Bruce Herzenberg's website, Herman and family immigrated about 1905 from Riga, Latvia. Ancestry.com's "New York Passenger Lists" shows 1905 to be in error - Herm. Herzenberg, age 26, laborer, and his wife Sara, age 25, arrived 20 Mar 1893, from Goldingen, Russia with intended destination of Pennsylvania on the ship Rhaetia.
