      In the name of God Amen, The twelveth daye of November Anno Domini 1625 and in the first year of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland Kinge defender of the faith &c, I Robert Doe of Hollingborne in the Countie of Kent Clarke beinge in sound and perfect remembraunce (I prayse God therefore) do make and ordeyne this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme followinge that is to saye First I commend my Sowle unto allmightie God my maker, through the merittes death and passion of his sonn Jesus Christ my only Saviour and Redeemer And my Bodie to the Earth to be buried by the discretion of my Executor hereafter menconed
      Item I do give will and bequeath unto the poore people inhabiting within the parishe of Hucking in the foresaid Countie of Kent Tenn shillinges of lawfull Englishe money to be distributed amongst them by Henry Staple and the Church Wardens there within one Moneth next after my decease
      And I do give and bequeath unto the poore people inhabiting within the parishe of Hollinborne aforesaid Tenn shillings of like money to be distributed amongst them by my Executor. And others of the theise sort of the inhabitants there within one month next after my decease
      Item I do give will and bequeath unto my kinswoman Elizabeth Becket the wife of Edward Becket one annuall or yearlie Rent or som of Tenn shillings of Lawfull money of England to be paid unto the handes of her the said Elizabeth durynge the whole terme of her naturall Lyfe by my Executor, his executors or Assignes yearlie at two tymes in the yeare by even porcions at thend of everie halfe yeare from and after my decease durynge the said tyme to be paide
      Item I do give will and bequeath unto my brother James Doe Tenn shillings and to my brother Isaac Doe twelve pence of lawfull English money to be paid unto them within one moneth next after my decease
      Item I do give and bequeath unto my kinsman Robert Brockwell Twentie shillings of like money to be paid unto him within three moneths next after my decease
      Item I do give will and bequeath to my neighbour Aurthur Woollett five shillings of like money to be paid unto him within one moneth next after my decease
      The Residue of all and singular my goods and Chattells whatsoever (not afore herein bequeathed) I do give will and bequeath unto my brother in Lawe John Ducke of Hollingborne aforesaid yeoman, he payenge or causing all my debts legacies and funeral expences to be well and truly paide And I do make name and appoint the said John Ducke sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
      Item I do give will and bequeath one Annuitie or yearly Rent Charge of Twentie shillings of lawfull money of England which I late purchased to me and to my heires and Assignes for ever of John Causten and Thomas Knowles yearly yssuinge out of certeyne Lands and Tenements at Yealdsted in the parishe of Stockburie in the Countie aforesaid with all appurtenances thereof and all summes of money which shall hereafter happen to be paide for the redeeminge of the same Annuitie To my kinsmen John Doe and Edward Doe sonnes of my foresaid brother James Doe and to the heires and Assignes of the said John Doe and Edward Doe for ever.
