      3. Correspondent Marsha Markham per 30 Sep 2002 email offers the following as children of this individual: "There is a New York Scotch-Irish Cooper & Allied Families' Histories. Address is Russ Cooper 1755 Derbyshire Rd., Cleveland, Oh 44106... He goes on to say that about 20 Cooper families were in the Sterling, Cayuga, NY area for a long time..." She also says according to the same book: "Welthy Ann (Edmund's sister) married Samuel Cooper, son of John of Eagle Bridge (on Hoosic River), White Creek, NY and that Samuel's wife Wealthy Ann Wells' brother Edmunds's second wife was Ann or Abiah Cooper, dau. of John Cooper and that he married her 27 Sep 1814 at the Presbyterian Church in Cambridge. Edmund's first wife was Jane Cooper." [Are Jane, Ann, and Samuel siblings?]

      4. Database entries of Jane's ancestors, siblings, and their families by database from Ancestry.com: database "1663942"; 13 Apr. 2002, contact . Email of 13 Apr 2002 from Bill Cooper states that his resources for the database came mainly from the family bible which is in the possession of Patricia Powell who is a descendant of Henry Cooper, bro. of Jane Wells Cooper. He used a lot of published trees from Genealogy.com and State records and public records to then verify the data. He has hit a stonewall on the parents of Samuel Cooper, Jane's father, and he's got the family traced back to PA but can't verify between his uncles and his father.
