Wells, a son of Edmund and Welthia Ann (Goodrich) W. of Cambridge, NY, born 3 May 1781 Schaghticoke, Rensselaer Co., NY; 1850 census of Cambridge, NY gives his occupation as laborer; he married 1st ___ to Miriam Henry, daughter of Joseph and ___ H., born ___; she died apparently after 7 April 1811, when her 2nd child was born; he was a member of the Associated Reformed Church of Cambridge, from 4 Oct. 1836; he married 2nd 26 April 1813, in the ministry of the Rev.
