      1. Per 11 Aug 2003 email from Fred Westergard : "I have recently been examining our ancestors on the Danish Demographic Database. I found that Enevold Christensen Westergard's first wife, Maren Catherine Mikkelsen, died on 21 Feb 1896 in Tabel (there are two dots over the a), Revs, Thisted, Denmark. She was buried at the Vestervig church on 1 Mar 1896. Enevold Christensen Westergard married Marie Kirstine Andersen, a divorcee, on 15 Oct 1901 in the Vestervig church. Marie Kirstine Andersen had previously been married to shoemaker, Martinus Olsen. She had the divorce cleared from 5 Feb 1901 through 12 Sep 1901 in order to marry Enevold Christensen Westergard. She was 20 years his junior almost to the day!"
