    • RESEARCH_NOTES:
      1. Marriage record of parents per FHL film 1473718 Parish Records for Stockbury, Kent shows William Kitney batchelor of this parish and Mary Tyler of the Parish of St. Stevens in the County of Middlesex, spinster, married 12 May 1794 in the presence of William Newman and John Snellen (Snellen is in a lot of records).

      BIRTH:
      1. Birth reported as 5 Feb 1795 in Stockbury by the LDS patron doing Ann's 1893 temple sealing. This date is not supported by the christening information below, but perhaps is was known to the patron.

      CHRISTENING:
      1. FHL film 1473718 Parish Records for Stockbury, Kent: "Kytney, Ann, Daugher of Wm. & Mary Novr. 13 1796."
Same film shows the burial of "Ann Kitney, Septr. 20th, 1797," which some have taken to indicate the same Ann chr. in 1796; however, that does not seem to be the case since any other child on the page that was buried always has the indication of being the son or daughter of a given couple which parents are both named in each case. This Ann Clinch who was buried in 1797 would be an older person and not a one year old child.

      BURIAL:
      1. FHL film 1835742 item #1, Bishop's Transcript of Stockbury: Ann Hales bur. 29 Mar 1833, age 36 years.

      2. FHL book 942.23/S7 V3s "St. Mary Magdalene Stockbury Monumental Inscriptions: "Large sandstone tombstone: In memory of Laurence Hales of this Parish who died April 10 1867 aged 74 years. Also of Anne his wife who died March 22nd 1833 aged 37 years. Leaving issue 2 sons and 2 daughters. Thy will be done."
