2. Ancestry.com 18 Oct 2002 database: ":2189391" of Steve Primm notes father Nathaniel Ashley is named as husband of Lydia Brown in her father Roger Brown's 1818 Laurens, SC will. Also notes he with wife and family are in the Rutherford Co. 1820 census. Steve lists 3 children with no further information than names only: Jesse, Martin, and Greenberry Ashley probably from Nathaniel's will (1828 Davidson County Wills).
