Carmel, Connecticut, parents Nathan Allen, b. 8 Mar 1695 in New Haven, Connecticut and Hannah Todd, b. 20 Feb 1701. Moses and Elizabeth had 7 children all born in Granville from 1761 to 1776. Quote: "Moses was drafted in 1759 to go, under the command of Major Rogers, among the Indians at St. Francois, where he suffered so as to be unable to support himself, et cetera. The assembly voted him twenty pounds out of the treasury of the Colony, May, 1764. Per Colonial Records Volume XII, page 283." 2. The book "Families of Ancient New Haven," by Donald L.
