      1. Tombstone in Ogden Utah Pioneer Cemetery shows birth as 3 Mar 1901. This varies with obituary age. Ken Burnhope has the same information; he checked with state archives for a formal birth certificate, but they did not keep records that far back.

      2. FHL film 26230, Ogden 4th Ward "Fast Sunday Blessing and Confirmation Records" indicates date of birth as 3 Mar 1901 and blessed by Austin C. Brown on 5 May 1901.

      3. Temple ordinance index has Florence Ethel Burnhope, b. 3 May 1901 at Ogden, Weber, Utah, d. 29 Jun 1902. Parents as Isaac Burnhope and Annie Christensen.

      OBITUARY:
      1. "Florence Ethel Burnhope died at 3:45 yesterday afternoon as a result of accidentally drinking carbolic acid Saturday evening. She was the 13 [possible misprint for 15?] months old child of Mr. and Mrs. I. Burnhope of 2246 Madison avenue. Mr. Burnhope is one of the well-known conductors on the Southern Pacific. The funeral will take place from the Fourth ward meeting house at 2 p.m. tomorrow." Ogden Standard, 30 Jun 1902.

      SEALING TO PARENTS: Online Ordinance Index FHL film 1239618, p. 689, ref. 22504, relative/proxy was Rosetta M. Burnhope. Also from a biographical sketch by Mary Lucile Burnhope. She notes in early Sept. 1917, her sister Marguerite at age 19 was called on an 18 month mission to the Northwestern States Mission with headquarters in Seattle, Washington. Their parents had not been married in the temple so they all went to the Salt Lake temple on 12 Sep 1917; the parents were endowed and then all were sealed together including the deceased daughter Florence.
