Ann d. 22 Oct. 1680, and he d. 9 Nov. 1693, aged 92 yrs. 7 mos. says the rec. In 1656 (c. 50) he received £5 a head bounty for killing wolves, and was a Selectman 1670 (c. 64).[2] His seventh and youngest child -(Captain) James Frie, 1-5-1652, d. 9-28-1734 (82); m. 1-20-1679 (27) Lydia Osgood, b. 8-12-1661 (m. 18), d. 4-14-1741 (80), dau. of … (Captain) John Osgood and Mary Clements. In King Philip's War 1675-76 (23-24), he served as quartermaster in Capt. Gardner's and Capt. Hartshone's Co., and was in the "Great Swamp Fight" 12-19-1675, He was a Selectman 1689 (37); and Captain of Militia 1702 (50). Of his eleven children, his oldest son -James Frie, b. 12-23-1682, d. 2-3-1716 (34); m. (1) 5-25-1708 (26) Joanna Sprague, d. 1-5-1715, dau., of … Phineus Sprague and Sarah Hasey: m.
