1. Reviewed Ancestry.com 23 Nov 2002.
CHRISTENING:
1. FHL film # 991,796.
2. Ancestry.com England Christening Records:
Ann Burnhope, 2 Jun 1794 at Haydon, Northumberland, Engl., parents are Joseph and Elizabeth Burnhope.
3. The following are on LDS IGI extracted christening records for Haydon Bridge, Northumberland per batch P002541, source film 0094994, printout 6905542. Additionally I was able to review another transcription at the Northumberland Records Office at Woodhorn for which I add the additional information in [brackets]. There was no Elizabeth:
16 Feb 1783, Isaac Burnhope, s. of Joseph [Woodhall Mill].
18 Dec 1785, Joseph Burnop, s. of Joseph and Elisabeth [Woodhall Mill].
23 Mar 1788, William Burnhope, s. of Joseph and Elizabeth [Woodhall Mill].
21 Mar 1790, Thomas Burnhope, s. of Joseph and Elizabeth [Woodhall Mill].
2 Jun 1794, Ann Burnhope, d. of Joseph and Elizabeth [Woodhall Mill].
11 Oct 1796, Thomas Burnhope, s. of Joseph and Elizabeth [Woodhall Mill].
14 Apr 1799 (b. 7 Apr 1799), Mary, d. of Joseph Burnhope and Elizabeth Muse [Woodhall Mill, Elizabeth native of this parish].
10 Jan 1802 (b. 8 Nov 1801), Margaret, d. of Joseph Burnhope and Elizabeth Muse [Woodhall Mill, Elizabeth native of this parish].
BURIAL:
1. It appears that Joseph Burnhope, son or Isaac had this tombstone made for his father and three of his children. Tombstone sketched and described in FHL film 94994 at Haydon Bridge Church: "'Here Lieth the Body of Isaac Burnip of the Wood Hall Mill Who died Oct'r 1 1781 At 66 years. In memmory of Elisabeth Daughter of Jo. Burnhope ob. Oct'r 1 1809 at 17. Also Ann ob. 18th 1810 at 16. Also Jo His son ob Feb 10th 1813 Aged 27 years.'
Headstone 24-1/2 x 2-3/8 x 32."
Note that there is no burial record in Haydon Bridge for Ann per FHL film 991796. Also the tombstone, as copied and presented in the schematic, does not give the month of her death; it would have had to have been after Jun 2 when she turned 16.
QUESTIONS:
1. Death 18 ??? 1810?
