      3. Email from: Val Bray [mailto:valjoy.bray@yahoo.com.au] October 05, 2006:
"I have checked on the first marriage of Thomas Daw and Mary Bingham in Warbleton. They were married on the 6 Apr 1758 and had three children. The records note that there were blank pages from 1752 to 1761, so there could be other children. Mary Daw, wife of Thomas was buried in Warbleton on 15 Jun 1767. I would say that he is your Thomas Daw who married Mary Hilton in Willingdon on 17 Oct 1768. Their daughter Sarah had a child Ann bapt. 5 Apr 1792. Thomas Daw (married Elizabeth Mott) the elder was buried 2 Nov 1764. (FHL 504418 Warbleton) Mary Daw (Hilton) was buried 12 Oct 1783 in Westham. (FHL 504419)
In your notes you say your Edward Osborne died after 1879. In the census of 1891 Sarah Ann is a widow. The only death I can find is 17 Jan 1886. It shows Edward 48 years, a shoemaker but the widow is K. J. Osborne. Do you think this is yours ? The 1871 census shows Edward and Sarah with a new born daughter. This is Alice Maria who died after a few weeks. I can't find Edward and Sarah in the 1881 census (maybe a different spelling ?) but there is a Cornelius Osborne aged 15, born in Woolwich on a training ship across the river in Essex.
I have found a death for Richard Dennis (husband of Eleanor Osborne). He died in Folkington on the 11 Jun 1859. Also I have some marriages and children for the next generation. Do you want these?"
