  BIRTH: 1. Online Ordinance Index for baptism states 17 Apr 1816 in New York; same for endowment states 17 Apr 1810 at USA; Ellen Sophia Degraw Frederick listed as relative in both entries. In the adoption temple record to William Gant Perkins, her birth date and place are mentioned as 17 Apr 1816 in Ontario [County], New York; the same record also shows a death date of 16 Apr 1844. Marriage sealing in the St. George temple has 2 Apr 1810 for birth and 16 Apl 1844 for death, which information would have been given by her husband David Frederick. MARRIAGE: 1. From Online Ordinance Index from pending ordinance as of 27 Apr 2002. 2. FHL book 977.432 V2m, "Marriage Records of Monroe County, Michigan," Vol. 1, 1988, published by Genealogical Society of Monroe County, Michigan. Note that the FHL library does not have a microfilm of the original of these records to confirm spelling; however, the name "Daniel Frederich" is doubtless a poor interpretation of the spelling of David Frederick. Death before 1846 is confirmed when David went through Nauvoo Temple with no mention of Martha.
