Live endowment and spouse temple sealing for 1935 shows Claybourne Lorenzo Elder, b. 27 Dec 1867 at Virgin, Washington, Elder to Claybourn Elder and Micah Martina Peterson. I use the temple record.

Mr. Elder was born Dec. 27, 1868[?] in Virgin City, son of Clayborn and Martina Peterson Elder. He married Elmina Stoker Dec. 28[?], 1890[?] at Junction, Utah. They resided there until 1910[?], when they moved to Orem, where they had since lived. He was a member of the Church. Survivors are his widow, five sons and daughters, Leo, Lorenzo, Barlow and Oliver Q.       6. "Services Held for Claybourn Elder. Funeral services for Claybourn Elder were held Friday afternoon in the Sharon ward chapel, with J. Allen Bellows of the bishopric, in charge. 'O My Father' was sung by a quartet comprising Reuben Pyne, Mrs. Lois Downs, Mrs. Ethel Pyne, and Delos Pyne, with Mrs. Melba Calder as soloist. Mrs. Ruth Mecham was at the piano. Prayer was offered by Allen Dickey, and the quartet then sang 'Sometime We'll Understand.' A life sketch of Mr. Elder was given by his son-in-law, Roy Mangum, and remarks were made by George W. Sidwell. Mrs. Ruth Mecham played a violin selection, accompanied by Mrs. Lois Downs, following which Bishop B.M. Jolley and Mr. Bellows spoke. The quartet rendered 'I Know My Heaavenly Father Knows,' and prayer was offered by Ivan Farnsworth, counselor. Interment was in the Provo City Burial park where the grave was dedicated by Leo Elder, a son of the deceased.
