“___ FITZ GEOFFREY. She married WILLIAM DE LA ROCHELLE (or DE LA ROKELE), of South Ockendon, Essex, Market Lavington, Wiltshire, etc., son and heir of William de la Rochelle, of South Ockendon, Essex, Market Lavington, Wiltshire, etc. They had one son, Richard, Knt. In 1221 he sued Peter de la Mare regarding the manor of Lavington, Essex, together with the advowson of the church. The dispute was settled in 1225 when a partition was made between them. WILLIAM DE LA ROCHELLE died shortly before 7 April 1227.
