CHRISTENING:
1. Online Ordinance Index has the following extracted record per FHL Printout film 6904690, film source 0090593, dates 1738-1875, batch C059291: Nicholas Boak, christened 21 Jul 1814, Castle Sowerby, Cumberland, England with parents Nicholas and Sarah Boak.
Note that this christening takes place 2 days before the the date of birth of 23 Jul 1814 as reported in burial records and by Nicholas himself in the various temple ordinances in which he participated during his lifetime. The Christening record would take precedence in my mind.
