      2. I originally had this individual named Isaiah Graybill based on the early censuses; however, there is the following strong case that this individual is William Isaiah or W.I. Graybill who was married to Mary Ann Williams. Here are some considerations:
      a. Webside "iagenweb.org/pottawattamie/cem-jones.htm" is a listing of burials in the Jones-Williams Cemetery in York Township in Pottawattamie County, IA. It's located approximately 1-3/4 miles east of Bentley in York Township on Highway G-30. Listed is Mary A. (Williams) Graybill, wife of W.I. Graybill with no other information given. No other Graybills listed.
      b. LDS Pedigree Resource File indicates Mary Ann Williams married 7 Jan 1875 in Pottawattamie Co. and died 1 Jun 1879 in York Twp. Cemetery in Pottawattamie Co. This would perhaps explain why Isaiah shows up as a widower living with his parents in the 1880 census. The two granddaughters listed are probably William's daughters since their birthdates fall within the marriage dates with Mary Ann and it does not appear that his brothers were married in that time frame making him the only candidate for having any children surnamed Graybill.
      c. 1900 census has a William living as a brother to Brigham Young Graybill. I suspect the niece listed with Brigham may be William's daughter.
      d. Next door neighbors in the 1880 census is the family of Thomas, age 53, and Ann Williams, age 49, both born in Wales, with 7 children aged 7 through 22 and father of Thomas: Daniel M. Williams. A search of other Williams buried in the small Jones-Williams Cemetery where Mary Ann is buried, shows Daniel. Thomas and Ann probably are Mary Ann's parents. None of the other children show birth in Utah; the oldest shows MO, next KS, and the others IA. Mary Ann would be dead by 1880 census. Ordinance Index and LDS Ancestral File confirm Mary Ann's parents as Thomas Williams and Ann T. Jones.
      e. 1870 US census for Council Bluffs, Kane Township, Potta., IA, p. 170b, entry 32, has the same family as above in the 1880 census with the addition of an older child: M.A. Williams, female, 15, b. in UT. Next oldest child is born in MO. Family evidently went to Utah and for whatever reason came back to the Midwest. This certainly confirms Mary Ann Williams as born in UT and this confirms the children with William in 1880 and 1900 censuses are his since their mother is noted as born in UT. This also ties William and Isaiah together as the same person.
