Spanish Fork. - Funeral service for Mrs. Susannah Hodgson Hales, 81, will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Spanish Fork First Ward Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Victor Leifson. Mrs. Hales died Friday at 5:45 a.m. at her home here, 380 East Second North St. of causes incident of age. She was born Sept. 12, 1866, at Spanish Fork, a daughter of Susanah King and Allan Hodgson. She was married to Alma Charles Hales, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hales was an active member in the Spanish Fork First Ward Relief Society of the Church. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Susannah Hales, Mrs. Dona Pfaff, Alma Charles Hales, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. Myrtle Bradford, Pantona, Calif.; Mrs. Grace Dowdell, Springville; Mrs. Marie Nelson, Miss Ethel Hales, Archie, Leo, and Eugene Hales, all of Spanish Fork; 27 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Whalin, Chandler, Ariz.; and Mrs. Ed Hales, Spanish Fork." Funeral services for Mrs. Hales will be conducted by Bishop Victor Leifson Monday at 2 p.m. in the LDS First ward chapel. Friends may call at the family home after 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery. Mrs. Hales is survived by four sons: Alma Charles Hales, Salt Lake; and Archie Leo and Eugene Hales, all of Spanish Fork; six daughters, Sushannah Hales and Mrs. Dona Pfaff, Salt Lake; Mrs. Myrtle Bradford, Pamona, Calif.; Mrs. Marie Nelson and Ethel Hales, Spanish Fork and Mrs. Grace Dowdell, Springville; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Whalin of Chandler, Ariz. and Mrs. Ed Hales, Spanish Fork.
