      Sisters, Long Time Residents Of Libby, Die Day Apart
      Mrs. Olive Johnson, 83, and Mrs. Martha Decker, 79, sisters and long-time residents of the Libby area, died here last week. Both ladies had been ill for some time.
      Mrs. Johnson died April 28, and Mrs. Decker died April 29.
      Mrs. Johnson was born Sept. 8, 1881, in Imlay City, Mich. She married Wellington Heath in Kingston, Mich., June 20, 1900. They moved to Libby in 1918 and Heath died in 1928. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Lewis Johnson, to whom she was married April 27, 1934.
      Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John Oliver, Portland; Mrs. Robert Hamilton, Hartford, S. D.; Mrs. Lela Nixon, Libby; three sons, Olaude Heath, Missoula; George Heath of Libby; and Wayne Johnson, Castro Valley; 26 grandchildren, 45 great grand¬children and four great-great grandchildren.
      The sisters are also survived toy two brothers, Ernest and Vern Spencer, both of Libby.
      Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Gompf- Cutler Chapel. The Rev. Frost Hatch, pastor of the church of God officiated. Mrs. Louis Rollman and Mrs. Narven As-a teen, accompanied by Mrs. August Johnson, sang " Precious Lord, Take My Hand," and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
      Pallbearers were Woodrow Whitmarsh, Elmore Richy, Ted Graham, Duane Johnson, Charles Challinor, and Paul Moody. Interment followed in the City of Libby Cemetery.
      Mrs. Decker was born May 20, 1885 in Imlay City and was married to Fred Ray Decker Dec. 25, 1905 in Big Rock, Mich. They moved to Libby in 1916. Mrs. Decker and her husband served as pastors of Church of God congregations at Libby, Plains, and 'Brady, Mont., and at Baker and Bend, Ore.
      A daughter, Frances Caddis, 19 months, preceded her mother in death. Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Fred R. Decker, three sons, Perry El-don Decker, Depoe Bay, Ore.; Ned L. Decker, Rexford; and Harold M. Decker, Spokane; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
      Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Church of God with the Rev. Frost Hatch officiating. Mrs. Paul Moody and Mrs. James Johnson, accompanied by Mrs. August Johnson, sang "Zion's Hill," and "Heaven Holds All to Me."
      Pallbearers were Kenneth Spencer, Ralph Spencer, Leon-ard Spencer, Forrest Spencer, Paul Moody and Paul Applegate. Interment followed in the City of Libby Cemetery.

      PETER SPENCER DIES AT CAMP
      Peter Spencer, 78 years old, passed away at the home of his sons at Camp One Monday morning, January 8. He had been a sufferer from paralysis for the last two years. He is survived by four sons and two daughters: Ernest Spencer, Levi Spencer Vernon Spencer and Mrs. Fred Decker of Libby, James Spencer of Goshen, Ind., and Mrs. Heath of Spo-kane.
      Funeral services were held in the Gompf chapel Wednesday, Rev. Mat-ney of the Methodist church officiting.
