1830 US: Canandaigua, Ontario, New York, p. 29 of 62:

1850 US: Canandaigua, Ontario, New York, p. 113 of 148, 26 Sep 1850, house and family 802. (Note that the neighbors in this census are the same as those of 1830 and 1840. It appears Joseph's daughter Laura (1810-1884) lived with her father. The children are his grandchildren.):

John Bucklin Mason, 31 Jan 1831 in Canandaigua, d. 5 Dec 1884 at Rocky Ridge, Ottawa, Ohio. Extensive descendancy of John and Laura follow in website.

Note that there were several Cooleys living next to Joseph Shaw in the censuses. One burial is recorded as: "Joseph T. Shaw, Jr., d. May 5, 1828; aged 1d; son of Joseph T. and Hannah Shaw."
