OBITUARY:
1. "Mrs. Elizabeth F. Hales is summoned by death. Special to the Tribune. Spanish Fork, Oct. 14. - Mrs Elizabeth Furlong Hales, wife of John T. Hales, died at her home here yesterday after being an invalid for seven years. Mrs. Hales was born in Canada 71 years ago and come to Spanish Fork when she was 7 years of age and had made her home here ever since. In her young womanhood she married John T. Hales. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Stagg of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Thomas Webb of Bingham, and a number of grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the First ward chapel tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock." Salt Lake Tribune, 15 Oct 1924, p. 8.
