BIOGRAPHY: George William Lawrence was a Private in the Civil War. Private - C.B. 2# Regement in Nebr. Cavalry. Enrolled 24 Oct 1862. Discharged 4 Sep 1863 at Omaha, Nebr. Jessie Waldo, have a copy of his Military records and his Homestead papers.
George received his Naturalization Papers 15 Dec. 1908 at O'Neill, Nebr.
This family moved from Richland, moved to Oberlin, Kansas. Moved to Emmett, Nebr. in about 1905 after Oscar settled there.
