      3. FHL book 929.273 "Some Descendants of Michael Stoker 1731-1819," compiled by Kathleen Stoker Overton (ca. 2003?), p. 67-68. This book does a good job of tracing several non-Mormon descendancy lines from the original immigrant.
      "Charlotte Stoker
Charlotte Stoker was born 19 February 1798 in Frederick, Frederick, Maryland to Johann Michael Stoker and Anna Maria (Mary) Adams. Her birth was registered in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maryland as being in 1788 but all census records list her as 10 years younger. She was single when her Father made out his will and he left her a goodly inheritance. Charlotte married John H. Binckley on 20 February 1825 in Perry County, Ohio. John and one of his brothers made and sold furniture. John died on 14 February 1849 in Somerset, Perry, Ohio at the age of 49 years. He is buried in the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery on Gay Street in Somerset, Perry, Ohio. Charlotte remained a widow the rest of her life. In 1860 she is living with her son, Philander and family in Iowa. In 1870 she is still with this family back in Perry County, Ohio. Charlotte died on 25 November 1877 in Somerset, Perry County, Ohio at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 6 days. It has not been determined where she has been buried. 1. From the book "Our Stoker Family Histories 1731-1881," Vol. II, comp. and ed. by Elayne Stoker, 2004, printed by Stevenson's Genealogy Center, Provo, UT. From an article entitled: "Michael Stocker 1731-1819 with wives: Ana Barbara Romerin, Elisabeth Fah, and Mary (Anna Maria) Adams." See notes of Johan Michael Stocker for complete text of which the following is a small part:
      "Cemetery Dilemma:
Michael, his wife Mary, and their daughter Mary were buried in the Lutheran Cemetery in Somerset. There are two Lutheran Cemeteries within the town limits. The Stockers are buried in the oldest one located on Gay Street. Family researchers in 1971 noted that Michael's headstone was located near his daughter's (Mary) and John Binkcley's (Charlotta's husband). Today Michael's headstone cannot be found. Mary's is still standing and some of the Binckley family but many of them are sinking or being overgrown by the soft earth. A local historian, Mr. Bope, commented that the cemetery had suffered from serious vandalism and most of the old stones were deteriorated beyond rescue. There are no maps or directions of the cemetery but it is known to be a full cemetery. The church that was next to it is no longer in existence. It is presently surrounded by old and new homes."
