      2. See extraction citation with marriage notes below. By entering the batch number on LDS Family Search IGI, I find the following other Frederick marriage extractions from Washtenaw Co., Michigan which may or may not be related:
Alexander Frederik and Emiline Cody, 4 Feb 1835.
Hannah Frederick and Dennis Lancaster, 18 Apr 1833.
Elanor Frederick and William Clark, 4 Jan 1836.
Abigail Frederick and Frederick Valentine, Abt. 30 Nov 1837.
Sylvia Frederick and James W. Cole, 10 Feb 1831.

      BIRTH:
      1. Online Ordinance Index records cited below.

      MARRIAGE:
      1. Ordinance Index indicates a previous marriage to Bertha Madama Simonds 22 Aug 1839 at Ridgeway, Lenawee, Michigan per temple work done by Duane Allen Rowley 7 Feb 1964. Bertha's ordinance work per FHL film 456431 submitted by Duane at same time indicates her parents are Mooney Simonds and Deborah Welch and that she was born 2 Feb 1824 at York, Livingston, New York and died 20 May 1845 at Ridgeway, Lenawee, Michigan. Work done is baptism 8 Sep 1961 and end. 18 Oct 1961.

      2. There appears to be a contradiction between both of these records for dates and county; both counties were independent from 1822 on. Why the discrepancy, I don't yet know, but the extraction would generally be more accurate based on my experience:
      a. A later LDS extraction sealing 14 Dec 1983 in Ogden Temple indicates marriage between "Nancey Frederick and John Palmer 30 Apr 1846 at Washtenaw County, Michigan with husband being age 27 and wife age 19 at time of marriage. Source given FHL film 1019064 V.0-1, Batch No. M518841, dates 1828-1851. Extraction records are some of the most reliable since they come from the actual original records themselves.
      b. Website: http://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mi/lenawee/vitals/marriage/dbn-apr4-2003.txt which has Lenawee County, Michigan Dibean Marriage Index: "Fredericks, Nancy - John C. Palmer, Lenawee Co., 01 Apr 1846."

      3. Received 30 Jul 2003 from Frederick descendant and researcher Mary Lou Spaulding, 1502 Haney Dr., Hays, KS 67601, 785-628-6465. The following is a partial excerpt concerning the following relation to David Frederick:
1828-1851; Washtenaw Co., Michigan - Marriage Records (FHL film 1019064)
      P. 152: April 18, 1833, Washtenaw Co, Michigan. Md. Dennis Lancaster to Hannah Frederick in Bridgewater by Howell B. Norton.
      P. 312: Received for Record the 15th day of March 1847 married April 30, 1846 John Palmer of Lenawee County aged 27 to Nancy Frederick of Bridgewater aged 19 years at the residence of Dennis Lancaster in the town of Bridgewater in presence of John Tyrel and Lady both of Clinton, Lenawee Co. By D.W. Palmer J.P.

      Palmer, John C. 1816-1894
      Palmer, Nancy, 1826-1892
Also listed in adjacent cemetery plots are other Palmers who appear to be John's parents and probable siblings as follows:
      Palmer, John, d. May 28, 1861, age 75 yr.
Palmer, Nancy, wf. John, d. 25 May 1865, age 74.

There is also another dozen or more Palmers scattered in cemetery born in the 1840's or later who may be later generation Palmers and possible relations. I do not find John's first wife. Palmer, Almira, 1857-1919
