OBITUARY:
1. "Mrs. Emma Jane Osborne, 68, widow of Lambert Osborne, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter J. Greaser in Riverdale. She was born in London, England, Oct. 16, 1858 and came to Utah in 1873. She was married in Salt Lake, 1878. Surviving are five children: Mrs. Robert Pender, Thomas S. Osborne, Ogden; Mrs. Greaser, Riverdale; Mrs. C.C. Martin, Albert Osborne, Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Trulock, and Mrs. May Blair, Ogden. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 21, at 2:30 p.m., in the Ogden Second ward chapel." The Deseret News, Fri., 19 Mar 1926, p. 4, sect. 2.

Emma Jane Osborne, widow of Lambert Osborne, died Thursday afternoon at 5:15 o'clock after a few days illness following a paraletic stroke, at the home her daughter, Mrs. Walter J. Greaser of Riverdale. She was born in London, England, October 16, 1858, the daughter of Thomas and Emma Scott Wotton, and came to Utah as an L.D.S. convert in 1873. She was married in Salt Lake in 1878 and since that time had made her home in Ogden, living for many years in the Second ward. Surviving are five children. Mrs. Robert Pender and Thomas Osborne of Ogden, Mrs. J. Greaser of Riverdale, Mrs. C.C. Martin of Oakland and Albert Osborne of San Diego, Cal. Two sisters, Mrs. Rose Truelock and Mrs. May Bair of Ogden, and five grandchhildren also survive. Funeral servecies will be held on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock in the Second ward chapel with Biship W.E. Newman presiding. The body may be viewed at the home of Mrs. Greaser in Riverdale on Saturday from 10 until 3 o'clock. It will then be taken to the home of Mrs. Pender, 167 Twenty-seventh street, where friends may call Saturday evening and also on Sunday until time of services. Interment will be made in the City cemetery under the direction of Lindquist undertakers." Ogden Standard Examiner, Fri., 19 Mar 1926, p. 16.
