Little is known about John Rundle except for his early land dealings in old Greenwich. His father, William granted John a parcel of land Dec. 13, 1709, and deeded land to John and his brother Samuel on Nov. 22, 1710. John and his brother Samuel bought land of Benjamin Mead April 24, 1727. It is possible John bought that land from Samuel on the same date. May 10, 1734 John bought land of his father-in-law Joshua Knapp, Jr. John deeded land to his sons, Eli and John, Jr. in 1742. He deeded land to John, Jr. Mar 10, 1743. Eli, Samuel, and John Rundle on Apr. 02, 1750 sold land to Isaac Holmes. pg. 481 & 482 Ye Historie...
John's wife Elizabeth Knapp had a sister Rebecca who married Jacob Rundle, a half-brother of John. pg. 10 Knapp...
