- RESEARCH_NOTES:
1. This individual is surmised from the 1810 census in which two daughters 9 or younger are reported in this family. A 2003 submittal for temple work by an unknown individual has this individual as Mary Ann Frederick, b. 16 Apr 1806 in New York, d. before 1901. Until proven otherwise, I will use Mary Ann as that daughter since I concur that there was a daughter born between 1806 and 1808 based on the census and other known children.
2. Censuses:
1810 US: German Flatts, Herkimer, New York:
Philip Frederick, males: 2@0-9 (David and Abraham), 1@26-44 (Philip)1@45+ (Francis?); females: 2@0-9 (Susanna and Mary Ann), 1@26-45 (Catherine).
[Could the male that is 45+ possibly be Francis since he does not show up in the 1810 census?]
BIRTH:
1. See christening notes.
CHRISTENING:
1. Mary Lou Spaulding found in FHL film 17760 records of births and baptisms performed by Rev. John Calvin Toll of the Reformed Dutch Church at Middleton (Mapletown), Westerlo (Sprakers), and Canajoharie, New York. These three towns are in or close to Montgomery County. In this film is a Phillip Frederick and Caty Germon who had a child Mary Ann born 16 Apr 1806 and baptized 18 May 1806. Rev. Toll was probably a traveling minister doing rural baptisms and then recording them in his journal or home church.
