3. If the above Jane Burnhope is correct in Stanhope, then Ancestry.com's "England and Wales, Free BMD Death Index 1837-1983, shows a death in Durhamshire, 2nd Quarter 1867, of Jane Burnhope, age 77 (b. 1790).

Female: Jane Lamb, of full age, spinster, no profession, residence in Hexham, father's name is William Lamb who is a husbandman.
