- RESEARCH_NOTES:
1. Reuben was also a sea captain like his brothers George and Jonathan. He shows up often as Reuben H. Winner. I believe his middle name is Haines since there was Reuben Haines that was prominent in Toms River as a merchant who maintained an account for Reuben's father. Reuben Haines was also involved in the probate of Naomi Johnston's father in 1812.
