      1. The following obituary appears to be the first wife of Oscar Norman: "Mrs. Oscar Norman. Fairview - Services for Mrs. Oscar Norman were held yesterday, Bishop Peter Nielson presided. Music was by the combined ward choirs under direction of H. P. Hansen. Prayers were by Daniel Rasmusson and C.V. Howell. Speakers were Bishop Henry W. Jones, Mrs. Wilford Rasmusson, Darius Sanders, William Olsen and Bishop Nielson. Interment was in Fairview cemetery where R.H. Spencer dediecated the grave." Deseret News, Wed., 4 May 1932, p. 7.

      1. "Provo - Oscar E. Norman, 77, retired barber, died Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. O.F. Matson, 451, W. 2nd South, following a lingering illness. He was born Sept. 26, 1868, in Salt Lake City, a son of Saul and Amanda Ereka Turnquist Norman. He married Elvira Greco on March 8, 1889, at Nephi, and they resided at Mt. Pleasant and Fairview, where Mr. Norman followed barbering. Mrs. Norman died April 27, 1932. Mr. Norman came to Provo three months ago and resided at the Matson home until the time of his death. He is survived by a son, S.D. Norman of Salt Lake City; four daughters, Mrs. O.F. (theo) Matson, Mrs. J. Vord (Josie) Spencer and Mrs. Merlin (Nelda) Rasmussen of Provo, and Mrs. J.L. (Minta) Rollins of Orem; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. William Waterfall and Mrs. Perry Gessel of Salt Lake City. Three grandchildren are in the armed forces. The body will be taken to Fairview for funeral services and burial. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. in the South LDS ward chapel, with interment in the Fairview cemetery."
