      3. Parents are Ezekial Peck and Electa Buck. Rea Jenkins, Peck family researcher provides me the following per her email of 25 Oct 2010 to me:
"I have never found anything about Henry Cooper being a member of the [LDS] church, although he very well could have been. As far as I can tell, Ezekiel and Electa Peck joined the church in New York and with the rest of the Colesville saints went west to Kirtland, Ohio, where they were sent on to Missouri and settled in Kaw Twp. When they were driven out they went into Clay County and made a settlement, but then, according to LaMar C. Berrett's book, "Sacred Places, Missouri, A Comprehensive Guide to Early LDS Historical Sites," the Colesville saints started to scatter in search of land. Ezekiel went to the Lowry Settlement in Clay County. When they were driven out of Missouri, Ezekiel went to Quincy, Illinois and show up in the 1840 census there. They appear to be still involved in the church. In 1850 they are in Burton, as you know. As far as I can tell, Ezekiel stayed there, as well as Hannah and Eveline. Joseph B. stayed there but eventually ended up in Hancock, Illinois. Chauncey went to Ohio, but he and his wife, Maria Wood, did their temple work in the Nauvoo temple before they left Nauvoo. I guess none of them stayed in the church. Polly Peck, Ezekiel's sister, was married to Joseph Knight. Hezekiah, another brother, never came west with the saints. Benjamin, another brother, who my husband is related to, died in New York. His widow, Phoebe Crosby Peck, went west to Missouri with her children, became the second wife of Joseph Knight, quite a while later when Polly died, and that family came on west. That's about all as far as Ezekiel's early LDS involvement."

      1. 1850 Census (know you have this, but if you look at it, just below Henry Cooper is Samuel Meachum and his wife Hannah. This is Anna Mariah's sister and her family. Below them is their father, Ezekial Peck and her mother, Electa Buck, and their younger sister Eveline.

I also have a cemetery record for the Winters Cemetery that I can copy also. In it there is a grave with a broken stone for a child of Henry and Anna. No name. The cemetery record says "baby? Broken marker looks like July 4 1858 ? age 2 y 20 da." I have this child on my family group sheet, and calculated the birth as 14 Jun 1856. Also, in Anna's obituary it states that she was the mother of ten children, six of whom - four daughters and two sons- are living.
This is all I have on the Henry and Anna Cooper family."

      DEATH:
      1. Per copy of death record abstract in my possession issued from the County of Yolo, Woodland, Calif. 95695, issued 28 Jul 2009: "12-16-1891, Mrs. A. M. Cooper, caucasian, 71 years, married, NY nativity, died from pneumonia, physician or coroner was Dr. Magill."

      B. Saturday, Jan. 2, 1892, page 1:
"Mrs. Henry Cooper, who died Dec. 16, 1891, was one of the pioneer women who have helped make California the grand state that it is today. She came to California in 1856 and settled with her husband and family upon the place where she died, living there a little over 35 years.
"She was bonr in Bainbridge, Chenango County, New York, December 9, 1820 and was married to Mr. Cooper in Burton, Adams County, Illinois where she had gone with her parents, Dec. 17, 1840. she was the mother of ten children, six of whom - four daughters and two sons - are living.
"That she was a good mother is attested by the honorable lives led by her children, and the respect in which they are held where they live. Mrs. Cooper was buried on the 51st anniversary of her wedding day and it was indeed a sad day for those who are left."
