1. Irene de Lanskoy Petersen, half sister to André Olimpieff, later gave the middle name André, to her eldest son Kerry André Petersen.
BIRTH:
1. Transcription of birth record made by Irene Petersen from government records in Nice France: "André Olimpieff. The 26 December 1926 at 21 hours [7 p.m.] was born 4 Place Duffy, André, of masculine sex, of Nicolas Olimpieff, hotel employee, born at Oust. Medveditzkaia (Russia) the 21 of May 1897 and of Catherine Werblovsky, his wife, hotel employee, born in Petrograd, Russia, the 8 October 1893 residing 33 Promenade des Anglais, Nice, France. Document of 29 December 1926 at 9 o'clock upon declaration of Victorine Sanrat, 34 years old, midwife residing in Nice."
2. According to Irene Petersen, there was a possible assumption that Andre may have been someone else's son besides Nicolas', but Irene does not believe that there was any concrete evidence to this. She might have heard it from either her brother or mother - in any case the legal papers for both birth and death of Andre says he was the son of Nicolas Olimpieff.

The 28 July 1929 at 5 o'clock a.m. died 57, Avenue of California [in Nice, France], André Olimpieff, born in Nice the 26 December 1926, son of Nicolas Olimpieff, hotel employee, and of Catherine Werblovsky, his wife, governess, residing 17 Avenue Shakespeare, Pension Provencale. Document dated 29 July 1929, 9.am., upon declaration of Joseph Bravi, 24 years, employed, residing in Nice."
