      OBITUARY:
      1. "Herbert R. Woodward, 71, of 2572 Fillmore, died this morning at the Dee Hospital of lung cancer. Mr. Woodward was born March 6, 1898, in San Francisco, Calif., a son of Charles and Cherizade Riggs Woodward. He was married to Virginia Rasmussen on Sept. 14, 1922, in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had owned and operated the Herb Woodward Co. from 1946 until 1956 when he retired. He had been representative of the Southwestern Petroleum Co. until his illness. Active in the LDS Church, he was a member of the East Ogden Stake High Priest Quorum and the 33rd Ward High Priest Group. He had served as a missionary in the East Ogden Stake and the Oriental Minority Mission. He was a member of the United Commercial Travelers. Surviving are his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Austin E. (Jean) Larsen, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Larkin Chapel of the Dawn with Bishop Clyde S. Hunter of the 33rd Ward officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until services. Burial will be in Ogden City Cemetery."
